Hundreds of Ukrainian drones intercepted, Moscow claims

Russian air defence systems shot down four guided aerial bombs, two rockets from the Czech-made Vampire multiple launch rocket system, and 601 fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles belonging to Ukraine over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defence Ministry said.

According to the ministry, air defence forces intercepted multiple types of incoming weapons, including drones and precision-guided munitions.

“Air defence means have shot down 4 guided aerial bombs, 2 rockets from the Czech-made Vampire multiple launch rocket system, and 601 fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles,” the ministry said in a statement.
