Hungarian PM urges resistance to Ukrainian oil blackmail
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán called on Europe to resist what he described as Ukraine’s “oil blackmail,” highlighting the ongoing blockade of the Druzhba pipeline and Europe’s energy crisis in a statement shared on X.
In a post on X, he emphasised that today marks the 19th day of the Ukrainian oil blockade, Caliber.Az reports.
“Day 19 of the Ukrainian oil blockade. Our experts are still denied access to the Friendship pipeline while Brussels still refuses to face reality: Europe cannot overcome the energy crisis without cheap Russian oil, yet their sanctions remain in place,” Orbán said.
