Hungary views potential Trump victory as key to peace between Russia & Ukraine

Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó has described Donald Trump's possible victory in the US presidential election as "a chance for peace" between Russia and Ukraine.

Péter Szijjártó asserts that a strong external influence is necessary for the conflicting sides to sit down at the negotiating table, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.

"Who has a chance for this in the coming period? It is only President Trump if he is elected. We see a chance for peace if President Trump wins. We see a chance for good relations between Hungary and the US if President Trump wins," he stated.
