IDF issues urgent evacuation warning to residents in Tehran

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have issued a stark warning to civilians in District 3 of Tehran, urging them to evacuate immediately due to planned military strikes targeting Iranian military infrastructure in the area.

In a message shared with Iranian citizens, the IDF emphasised that residents’ safety was at serious risk and that operations would take place in the coming hours, Caliber.Az reports via IDF statement on X.

“Dear citizens, for your safety, we urgently request that you evacuate the designated area in District 3 of Tehran immediately,” the statement read.

The IDF stated that the evacuation advisory comes in light of recent Israeli military operations in the Tehran area and that further actions will be taken shortly.

Earlier, Israel’s Defence Minister, Israel Katz has issued a stern warning to residents of Tehran following a wave of Iranian attacks on Israeli territory overnight.

“The blustering dictator of Tehran has become a cowardly killer, deliberately firing towards Israel’s civilian rear to deter the IDF from continuing its offensive that is crippling its capabilities," Katz wrote on X.
