Intel chief: Russia among global leaders in arms exports
Russia remains one of the world’s leading arms exporters due to the reliability and quality of its military products, says Sergey Naryshkin, chairman of the Russian Historical Society and director of the Foreign Intelligence Service.
Speaking at a roundtable dedicated to the history of Russian arms exports, he highlighted the enduring significance of Russian weaponry on the international market, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
He said arms exports deserve special mention.
“Thanks to the reliability and quality of the respective products, Russia continues to rank among the global leaders in this sizable market. I would add that for several countries that fought against colonial oppression, our weapons became a true symbol of freedom,” Naryshkin added.
