Iran approves new cooperation agreement with IAEA

Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) has approved a new cooperation agreement between Tehran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), NourNews reports.
The agreement’s text was first reviewed by the SNSC’s Nuclear Committee, which is authorised to make decisions on behalf of the Council regarding nuclear program matters, Caliber.Az reports, citing Iranian media.
All provisions of the document received the committee’s approval.
The agreement was signed in Cairo by IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
