Iran declares bridges in Israel and Middle East “legitimate targets”
02 April 2026 17:56
In response to an attack on the bridge connecting Tehran and Karaj, Iran has announced that bridges in Israel and across the Middle East are now considered “legitimate targets,” the IRGC press service announced.
The statement specifically mentioned the Arik Bridge on Highway 87 in Israel, linking Lower Galilee to the Golan Heights. Bridges in Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, Jordan, and Iraq were also cited.
Earlier reports indicated that US-Israeli forces carried out strikes on several areas around Azimeh in Karaj, Iran, including an attack on the B1 Bridge, one of the country’s tallest bridges.
