Iran develops incredible response to Israeli strike Top military official says
Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Mohammad Bagheri has stated that Iran developed a response to the Israeli strike on its territory that occurred on October 26.
He made these remarks at the meeting of the Supreme Military Council, Caliber.Az reports per Russian media.
“The response would be ‘incredible’ for the Israeli government. Just as the previous two operations [referring to Iran's strikes on Israeli territory on April 13 and October 1, 2024] differed in form and the weapons, the response to Israel's latest aggression has been planned in a way that will astonish the leaders of the [Israeli] regime,” he said.
Bagheri stated that Israel "crossed Iran's red lines" by launching strikes on the country's territory, resulting in the deaths of four Iranian soldiers.
He emphasised that Tehran's response, "which will make the aggressors regret their actions," will be carried out at the appropriate time.
On October 26, the Israeli military reported strikes on military targets in Iran in response to "numerous continuous attacks." According to the Iranian air defence forces, military facilities in the provinces of Ilam, Tehran, and Khuzestan were targeted. However, the damage was limited, and the main strike was successfully repelled. The Israeli attack resulted in the deaths of at least four Iranian soldiers and one civilian. In response, Iran threatened a new retaliatory strike against Israel.
