Iran executes alleged Mossad informant
Iran has carried out the execution of Koroush Keyvani, who had been convicted on charges of spying for Israel, according to reports from the judiciary-affiliated Mizan News Agency.
In a statement, the agency said the death sentence was implemented on Wednesday morning, March 18, following the completion of all legal procedures and its confirmation by Iran’s Supreme Court. It described Keyvani as “a spy of the Zionist regime” who had transmitted sensitive materials to officers of Mossad, as per Caliber.Az.

The statement specified that Keyvani had provided images and information related to strategically important sites inside Iran to Mossad personnel.
No further details were disclosed about the case, but the report emphasised that the execution was carried out only after judicial approval at the highest level.
