Iran hands over to Israel map of targets it to strike in case of war
Iranian authorities have sent Israel maps showing the location of Israeli warehouses that allegedly store nuclear weapons. A senior Iranian official told Al Jazeera on Thursday that Tehran would strike at these facilities if Israel unleashes a war, TASS reports.
“Tehran has sent to Israel, through a European country, photographs and maps of Israeli nuclear weapons depots,” an unnamed Iranian official was quoted as saying by the
TV channel. He explained that most of the images were taken from the ground and not from a satellite. The walls of the Israeli weapons sites were allegedly "marked red". At
the same time, the interlocutor of the channel did not indicate whether these marks were made on the photos of objects or directly on the walls of buildings.
"Tehran has confirmed that the warehouses and facilities will be its target if Israel decides to go to war with Iran," the official continued. According to him, Israel has changed
the location of "strategic warehouses", but the data transmitted to it includes information about their new location.
The President of the Islamic Republic, Ebrahim Raisi, said on Monday that the Iranian Armed Forces, in the event of the slightest threat from Israel, would strike at the
central regions of this country. In February, Jewish Prime Minister Naftali Bennett stressed that Iran and its nuclear program pose the biggest threat to Israel, which,
regardless of the outcome of negotiations in Vienna to restore the nuclear deal with Tehran, will leave a free hand.
