Iran navy chief: Enemies soon to see weapons they fear

Iran will soon demonstrate new maritime strength, and its adversaries will face weapons they greatly fear, Shahram Irani, the commander of Iran’s navy, has stated.

Irani said his country would showcase its new naval capabilities “in the very near future,” Caliber.Az reports, citing Iran International.

According to him, opponents would see weapons they fear, deployed very close to them.

Earlier, Iran’s Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, stated that regional nations have already witnessed Iran’s strength.

He said Islamic Iran, through its management of the Strait of Hormuz, will ensure the security of the Persian Gulf and eliminate abuses by enemies.

“New rules for managing the strait will bring stability and progress to all nations of the region, and economic benefits will please the people, with God’s help, even if disbelievers oppose it,” he noted in a statement.
