Iran reports strikes on energy infrastructure after Trump’s statement
Iranian authorities reported attacks on two key energy facilities in Isfahan and Khorramshahr.
In Isfahan, the administration building and a gas reduction station on Kaveh Street were struck, causing damage to parts of the facilities and nearby residential properties, Caliber.Az reports via Iranian media.
Iranian officials described the incident as part of ongoing assaults by what they called “American-Zionist forces.”
Simultaneously, reports emerged of a strike on the gas pipeline serving the Khorramshahr power plant.
The governor of Khorramshahr confirmed that a projectile hit an area outside the gas station, causing no casualties.
Earlier reports confirmed that Trump had instructed the US Armed Forces to halt operations targeting Iranian territory for five days.
