Iran responds to US, signals strong reaction to Trump’s protester threats
US interference in Iran’s internal affairs is equivalent to destabilising the entire Middle East and will lead to the collapse of all Washington’s interests in the region, Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council said.
In response to US President Donald Trump’s threats to support Iranian protesters, Ali Larijani wrote on his X page that he stated protesting entrepreneurs are not connected to destructive elements, Caliber.Az reports.

“We believe that protesting entrepreneurs are not connected to destructive elements, and Trump must understand that US intervention in this internal issue is equivalent to destabilizing the entire [Middle Eastern] region and destroying American interests,” he emphasised.
Larijani stressed that the American people should know that Trump was the one who started this adventure and that they should pay attention to the safety of their soldiers.
Earlier, Trump wrote on Truth Social that if Iran shoots and brutally kills peaceful protesters, the US is ready to assist the demonstrators.
