Iran’s Mehrabad airport suspends operations until further notice

The Mehrabad International Airport in Tehran has suspended operations, according to the Iranian television network SNN.

The broadcaster, citing its sources, noted that all flights had been cancelled until further notice.

Earlier, Iranian media reported that air defence systems were activated in the western city of Kermanshah.
