Iranian envoy, UN Resident Coordinator mull prospects of peace in South Caucasus

Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Sayed Abbas Mousavi discussed the prospect of permanent peace in the South Caucasus with the UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan Vladanka Andreeva, the Azerbaijani bureau of IRNA said in Telegram.

"The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran met with the Resident Coordinator in the Republic of Azerbaijan. In addition to Israel's actions in the Gaza Strip, the prospects for sustainable peace in the South Caucasus, environmental problems in the Caspian Sea basin and climate change were discussed," the agency said, according to Report.
