Iranian technicians involved in renovation of Armenian parliament building
Iranian specialists, among others, have been involved in the repair and restoration works of the Armenian parliament building, Caliber.Az reports citing Zhokhovurd newspaper.
Head of the parliament's Public Relations and Communication Department Laura Antonyan confirmed the information in a conversation with the newspaper, explaining that the specialised company "Arev, Luys, Cascade" won the tender, offering the lowest price for the replacement of lifts in the parliament.
"This company is also involved in the production of lifts, they have two Iranian specialists who are involved in technical works to avoid installation problems. Besides the two Iranians, there are also six Armenians in the organisation, which means that only eight people are involved in the installation of lifts," Antonyan told the newspaper.
Earlier, the newspaper wrote that all summer long the Armenian parliament has been undergoing active repair works: an area for an open-air cafe has been prepared, rooms for committee meetings have been repaired, and now the lifts of the parliament are being replaced.
