Ireland sends demining robots, vehicles to support Ukraine’s defence, humanitarian needs
Ireland has delivered a shipment of non-lethal aid to Ukraine, including 34 vehicles and three state-of-the-art demining robots, as part of its ongoing support for Kyiv’s defence and humanitarian response efforts.
The announcement was made by Tánaiste (deputy prime minister) and Minister for Defence Simon Harris, Caliber.Az reports.
Harris emphasized that the aid package reflects Ireland’s steadfast commitment to providing non-lethal assistance to Ukraine “for as long as necessary.”

The delivery, which has already arrived in Poland, includes three Reacher robots, advanced remote-operated systems designed for mine detection and disposal. These robots are expected to play a crucial role in helping Ukrainian authorities clear landmines and other unexploded ordnance from conflict-affected areas.
