IRGC says it targeted US Al Udeid air base in Qatar

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that it had targeted the US Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar.

Al Udeid is one of the United States' key military installations in the region and serves as the forward headquarters of US Central Command (CENTCOM), Caliber.Az reports, citing Iran International.

Earlier, Kuwait's Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy reported that an Iranian attack had struck one of the country's power generation and water desalination facilities.

According to the ministry, the strike sparked a fire and caused damage to parts of the facility, including several electricity generation units.

Officials stated that firefighters had succeeded in bringing the blaze under control, while technical teams were working to repair the affected infrastructure and restore operations.
