Israel intensifies attacks on Tehran, hits area near Supreme Leader’s bunker

Israel has launched a series of intense airstrikes targeting Tehran, with a primary focus on the area near Lavizan — the northeastern district where Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is reportedly sheltering in a fortified underground bunker.

Multiple explosions have rocked the district, underscoring the precision and intensity of Israel’s campaign aimed at neutralizing key strategic sites close to Iran’s highest authority, Caliber.Az reports per foreign media.

The targeting of Khamenei’s presumed bunker highlights the unprecedented level of Israeli military pressure on the Iranian leadership as tensions soar.

In a defiant televised address amid the bombardments, Khamenei vowed that Iran would “never surrender,” directly challenging US President Donald Trump’s demand for an “unconditional” exit from the confrontation, now entering its sixth day.

Meanwhile, Moscow has issued stern warnings against further escalation. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov cautioned Washington that any direct military support to Israel “would radically destabilise the entire situation” in the Middle East, reflecting deep concerns about the potential for a broader regional conflict sparked by the intensified attacks.
