Israel renews evacuation warning ahead of potential strikes in Lebanon
The Israeli military has issued a renewed warning to residents in Lebanon, urging those living in the southern suburbs of Beirut to comply with previously announced evacuation orders.
Avichay Adraee, a spokesperson for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), said in a statement posted on social media that the military would “use force” against what he described as terrorist infrastructure linked to Al-Qard al-Hassan “in the coming hours,” Caliber.Az reports.

Al-Qard Al-Hassan is a financial organization under US sanctions that Israel accuses of financing the Iran-backed Hezbollah movement.
Hundreds of thousands of Lebanese reportedly keep their savings in Al-Qard Al-Hassan, which gained significant popularity—particularly in areas where Hezbollah operates—after Lebanon’s 2019 banking crisis. During that crisis, commercial banks froze customers’ accounts, prompting many people to turn to alternative financial institutions.
