Israel strikes around 40 weapons facilities in Tehran in two days VIDEO
Over the past two days, Israeli airstrikes in Tehran have targeted approximately 40 sites involved in weapons production and research, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in a statement.
“Yesterday, the Israeli Air Force, acting on precise IDF intelligence, carried out a series of strikes against infrastructure across Tehran belonging to the Iranian regime.
More than 80 munitions were used against weapons production facilities. Among the targets hit were:
- A facility used for assembling long-range surface-to-air missiles that pose a threat to Israeli air operations;
- A facility producing components for anti-tank and short-range surface-to-air missiles;
- A facility involved in the production, research, and development of ballistic missile engines.
Over the past two days, the IDF has intensified strikes on regime production sites in Tehran, hitting around 40 locations involved in weapons production, research, and development as part of large-scale air operations.
The IDF will continue to target the regime’s military industry to deprive it of production capabilities built over many years,” the statement said.
