Israeli Air Force strikes southern Lebanon

The Israeli Air Force has conducted new strikes in southern Lebanon.

One of the strikes targeted the area around the town of Jwaya, resulting in the death of Hussein Jishi, a member of the Shiite Hezbollah movement, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said, Caliber.Az reports citing the Russian media.

The Israeli military reported that Jishi was the commander of an anti-tank unit. Additionally, Israeli forces targeted military facilities in the vicinity of the town of Aitaroun.

Throughout the day, Israeli artillery also fired on several areas in southern Lebanon to "neutralize threats.
