Israeli embassy in Baku commemorates Holocaust victims

The Israeli embassy in Azerbaijan is paying tribute to the victims of the Holocaust.

“Today we commemorate Israeli Holocaust Remembrance Day. 80 years ago, Jewish fighters rose up in a heroic act of resistance against the Nazis. We remember the victims but also remember their resilience and courage. Their defiance is our victory,” Caliber.Az quotes the embassy as saying on Twitter.

Holocaust Remembrance Day 2023 is celebrated in Israel on April 18. On this date, Israel remembers the six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust.
