Israeli forces neutralize six militants in eastern Rafah amid ongoing operations

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have neutralized six militants in the eastern Rafah area, a statement from the army’s press service confirmed.

“IDF troops are continuing to operate in the area of eastern Rafah. This morning (Wednesday), IDF observation posts identified six additional terrorists, who most likely emerged from the underground terror infrastructure in the area,” the statement said, Caliber.Az reports.

“Following the identification, the IDF struck the terrorists while they attempted to flee. A hit was identified,” the army added.

“IDF troops in the Southern Command remain deployed in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat,” the statement concluded.
