Israeli military calls residents of 80 villages in southern Lebanon to evacuate Photo
The Arabic-language spokesperson for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Avichay Adraee, has called on residents of approximately 80 villages in southern Lebanon to evacuate, citing ongoing military activity "targeting Hezbollah."
In a statement posted on the social media platform X, Adraee issued an urgent alert to residents, providing a list of villages and towns that had been warned and advising people not to return to them at this stage, Caliber.Az reports.

He said that "Hezbollah’s activities in the area were compelling the IDF to carry out operations," and that the measures were intended to avoid harm to civilians. Residents were instructed to leave their homes and remain at least 1,000 metres outside the affected villages.
Adraee further warned that anyone located near members of Hezbollah, its facilities, or its military assets would be placing themselves at risk. He urged residents to prioritise their safety and the safety of their families by staying away from the specified areas.
