Israeli security forces have detained more than 1,100 Palestinians since October 7, of which 710 are allegedly associated with the radical Hamas movement.
"At the moment, since the beginning of the war, about 1,110 wanted persons have been arrested in the Judea and Samaria Division and the Bekaa and Valleys Division, about 710 people are associated with the terrorist organization Hamas," Caliber.Az reports, citing the Israeli Defence Forces’ Telegram channel.
In addition, Israeli forces destroyed the house of the deputy head of the Hamas Politburo, Salah Arori, writes the IDF.
"Engineering forces, the IDF and the Israel Defense Forces acted tonight in the village of Arora in the Binyamin brigade area to demolish the house of terrorist Salah Arori, deputy head of the politburo and responsible for the activities of the Hamas terrorist organization in the Judeo-Samaria region," the statement said.
In addition, 38 wanted persons suspected of involvement in terrorism were arrested. Eight of them are considered members of Hamas.
The situation in the Middle East worsened after thousands of Hamas militants from the Gaza Strip entered Israel on October 7. More than two hundred hostages were captured.
