Jüdisches Europa: Analogies between Nazi policy on Jews and situation in Azerbaijan’s Garabagh - unacceptable
Drawing analogies between the Nazi policy of "final solution of the Jewish question" and the attitude of Azerbaijan towards Garabagh Armenians is not only unacceptable, but completely unfounded.
There is no documentary evidence regarding accusations against Azerbaijan of "genocide" of Armenians, there are no allegations of hunger among the Armenian population of Garabagh, Report informs citing the article of the all-European Jewish website in German Jüdisches Europa.
Iran-dependent Armenian leaders are declaring 'genocide by famine' at the UN while media outlets disseminate photos of loud restaurants and sumptuous weddings in Khankandi with plenty of grilled meat and huge cakes.
According to the article, despite this noisy propaganda campaign, there is no visible evidence for the “starving population” that could be easily cited in this age of global electronic media.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan accuses the Azerbaijani authorities of creating a "ghetto" against Armenians while head of the Odessa Jewish religious community, Shlomo Baksht, thinks that this is an insult to the blessed memory of the Holocaust victims.
According to other Israeli media outlets, pro-Armenian activists in Israel, using funds received from Armenian organisations in the US, have been distributing information in Israeli and Jewish-American media since May urging not to support Azerbaijan. The main argument is that Jews, who survived the Holocaust are now, allegedly, themselves becoming "accomplices in the genocide" of Armenians in Garabagh. Thus, an attempt is being made to put pressure on the Israeli leadership to force it to abandon the military-strategic partnership with Azerbaijan.
“However, the organisers of this campaign have no real leverage on the Israeli leadership. Therefore, the response campaign of rabbis from all over the world, delivering speeches for the Israeli, US and French media, condemning the Armenian leadership in connection with the demonisation of Azerbaijan and the cynical exploitation of the Holocaust topic for propaganda purposes, has a much greater resonance in Israel,” the authors said.
One of the main resources of the Jewish diaspora in Latin America, the Argentinean Visavisс website, published an article stating that the accusations against Baku regarding the “genocide” of Armenians in Garabagh is a real slanderous campaign.
