Kazakh president to visit Russia for Interregional Cooperation Forum

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will visit the Russian city of Omsk on July 25 at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Kazakhstan’s presidential press service, Akorda, said.

Tokayev will attend the 22nd Forum on Interregional Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia, where he is also scheduled to hold a meeting with Putin.

The forum is being held on July 24–25 with the participation of delegations from both countries. Russian presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said the day before that Putin would also attend the event.
