Kazakhstan–Pakistan relations elevated to strategic partnership

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif of Pakistan have signed a Joint Declaration on the establishment of a strategic partnership between the two countries.
The signing took place during an official ceremony held as part of President Tokayev’s state visit to Pakistan, Caliber.Az reports, citing Kazakh media.
During the visit, the two sides also signed a number of additional bilateral documents, further strengthening cooperation between Kazakhstan and Pakistan across various areas.
Tokayev arrived in Pakistan on February 3 on a state visit, accompanied by a high-level delegation including senior cabinet ministers and other officials.
