Kazakhstan reveals volume of oil planned to be shipped to Baku port by late 2023
KazTransOil Joint Stock Company plans to send 1.4 million tons of oil to the Baku International Sea Trade Port.
"By the end of this year, KazTransOil JSC plans to ship 1.4 million tons of oil from the port of Aktau towards the port of Baku," Trend quotes KazTransOil as saying.
It should be noted that KazTransOil has 12 times increased the volume of exported Kazakh oil in the direction of the port of Baku for the first eight months of 2023.
Thus, the volume of transportation of Kazakh oil from the port of Aktau for export in January-August this year amounted to 2.164 million tons, which is 759,000 tons or 54 per cent more compared to the same period last year, including 520,000 tons from the field "Tengiz", 252,000 tons from the field "Dunga", 1.385 million tons from the fields of Buzachi peninsula and 7,000 tons from the field "Kashagan".
KazTransOil Joint Stock Company is an oil pipeline company of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which provides services on oil transportation to the domestic market, for transit and export.
