Kazakhstan-Russia trade turnover rises in first half of 2026

Trade between Kazakhstan and Russia increased in the first half of 2026, according to data from Kazakhstan’s National Bureau of Statistics.
Russian exports to Kazakhstan rose by 30.9% compared with the same period last year, while Kazakhstan’s exports to Russia increased by 8.6%, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.
The figures highlight continued growth in economic ties between the two neighbouring countries. Bilateral trade totalled $28 billion in 2025.
Kazakhstan’s trade with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) also grew during the first six months of 2026, rising by 8.7% to $15 billion.
