Kazakhstan showcases drones at emergency services meeting

Kazakhstan showcased drones, robotic systems and other advanced emergency response technologies at a meeting with Belarus and Russia in Belarus.

The 13th meeting of the Joint Board of Emergency Services brought together representatives of the three countries to discuss emergency response cooperation, Caliber.Az reports via Kazakh media.

Kazakhstan presented a tracked firefighting robot, a robotic platform, drones and digital monitoring systems, according to the country’s Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Particular attention was given to fires involving electric vehicles. The participants discussed specialised battery cooling systems, fire blankets and equipment for moving damaged vehicles.

Following the meeting, the three countries agreed to exchange expertise, conduct joint testing of equipment and develop common guidelines for emergency services personnel.
