Kazakhstan, US seal $17 billion in deals as Tokayev meets Trump at White House PHOTO
Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and U.S. President Donald Trump held talks at the White House on November 6.
According to the press service of the President of Kazakhstan, the meetings resulted in the signing of agreements worth over $17 billion.
During the talks, President Tokayev expressed his gratitude to President Trump for the invitation to visit Washington and for the exceptional hospitality extended to the Kazakh delegation.
Tokayev highlighted the historic nature of Donald Trump’s presidency, under which the United States has strengthened its position as a leading global economic, political, and technological power. He emphasised the American leader’s decisive contribution to ensuring a safer, more stable, and prosperous world.

The Kazakh head of state also voiced support for U.S. peace initiatives, including the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP), which could further the development of the Middle Corridor.
President Trump reaffirmed the United States’ commitment to further consolidating a multi-faceted, enhanced strategic partnership with Kazakhstan.
Both leaders welcomed the signing of commercial agreements between the two countries during the visit, totalling over $17 billion.
The discussion featured a comprehensive exchange of views on a wide range of bilateral issues and identified promising areas for mutually beneficial cooperation. The presidents also addressed key matters on the international agenda.
