Kremlin: Aliyev-Putin birthday call included “very important” discussions

The recent phone conversation between Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Russian President Vladimir Putin was significant, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said during a briefing. 

Peskov stated that the Azerbaijani president had congratulated Putin by telephone on the occasion of his birthday, but noted that other issues were also addressed during the call. He described the conversation as very important, Caliber.Az reports per TASS. 

President Putin turned 73 on October 7.
