Kremlin: Iran has not requested help from Russia

Russia has not received any requests for assistance from Iran, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told journalists.

Peskov noted that Russia’s consistent position on the situation in Iran is well known and that there are no changes, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.

On February 28, Israel and the United States struck targets in Iran. In response, Tehran attacked Israel and US military bases in the Persian Gulf.

The Russian Foreign Ministry called on all parties to refrain from using force to resolve disputes and to pursue political and diplomatic solutions while safeguarding the legitimate security interests of all regional states.
