Kremlin-linked Russian ideologue Dugin: “Give us Ukraine”

Russian political philosopher Alexander Dugin, who is widely regarded in the West as being close to the Kremlin, called for Ukraine to be handed over to Russia shortly after CIA Director John Ratcliffe’s visit to Moscow.

On August 25, Dugin wrote on X: “If you want us not to escalate give us Ukraine and we won't.” The post was published shortly after Ratcliffe’s unannounced visit to the Russian capital, Caliber.Az reports.

Western media have reported that during his Moscow trip, Ratcliffe sought to dissuade the Kremlin from taking military action against NATO countries.

Dugin’s remarks therefore came against the backdrop of heightened concerns over the possibility of further Russian escalation beyond Ukraine.
