28 May 2026 13:14

The Ukrainian Defence Forces have carried out a series of strikes on targets in the territory of Russia and temporarily occupied regions of Ukraine.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that one of the struck facilities was the Tuapse oil refinery in Tuapse, Krasnodar Krai, Russia, where a fire and smoke were reported at the site.

It is also reported that air-launched Storm Shadow missiles struck automated intelligence control systems of the Russian Aerospace Forces in the areas of Voronezh, Taganrog, and Sevastopol (temporarily occupied Crimea).

In addition, the strikes targeted command posts of Russian units in the areas of Tsvetnye Peski and Sorokino in Luhansk region of Ukraine, as well as a logistics supply depot in Sorokino.

A drone production facility in the Azovskyi area of the Zaporizhzhia region was also hit, along with a “Nebo-SV” radar station near Kamenka and a command-and-staff vehicle of the Buk-M2 system near Kadiivka in the Luhansk region.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said the operations are aimed at weakening the military-economic and combat potential of Russian forces.

Russia has not provided detailed official comments on most of the mentioned targets as of the time of publication.
