Kyiv says Russia could launch massive missile attack on war anniversary

Mykhailo Podolyak, the adviser to the Ukrainian presidential office, has said that Russia may launch a massive missile strike on the territory of Ukraine on February 24.

"For February 24, the Russian Armed Forces will try to accumulate the volume they always use for a massive 3-wave cascade and show that they still have 'a plenty of shot in the locker,'" Podolyak said, Gazeta.ru reports citing Ukrainian "Klimenko Time". 

In his opinion, the Russian side will launch balloons to test and exhaust Ukrainian air defence systems.
