Kyiv Territorial Centre accuses draft evaders of attacks on enlistment officers PHOTO

06 January 2026 14:17

The Kyiv Regional Territorial Centre for Recruitment and Social Support (TCC) has issued a sharply worded statement accusing draft evaders of carrying out attacks against mobilisation bodies and military enlistment officers.

The statement includes statistics claiming that during the war, four recruitment officers were killed by civilians and 272 people were subjected to attacks, Caliber.Az reports, citing the TCC’s Facebook page.

“Wounded warrior-heroes, after severe injuries and concussions, who came to the TCC to notify fellow citizens of the need to rise in defence of Ukraine—by whose hands are they now dying?” the statement said.

The publication stresses that these servicemen survived fierce fighting with Russian forces, assaults and bombardments, followed by lengthy treatment and rehabilitation, all in defence of the country. However, the TCC claims they are now being killed on their own soil by what it describes as “angry and cowardly draft dodgers.”

“Degrading creatures hiding in corners from mobilisation smear the TCC in every possible way, seek excuses in empty accusations against the authorities and endless self-pity on social media. These faded plebs, having lost the last remnants of dignity, know nothing of nobility or sacrifice for the Motherland. Is it this grey mass of draft evaders that is killing our heroes from the TCC, shedding their martyrs’ blood? Enemy people,” the Kyiv Regional TCC stated.

The TCC is the government body responsible for military registration and the mobilisation of Ukrainian citizens.
