A magnitude 4.2 earthquake struck off the eastern coast of Russia’s Kamchatka Peninsula on July 10, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).
The earthquake occurred at 10:38 a.m. local time on July 10. The epicentre was located about 76 kilometres northeast of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, with the earthquake’s focus at a depth of 56 kilometres, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.
Preliminary reports indicated no casualties or damage following the tremors. Authorities did not issue a tsunami warning after the earthquake
