Man narrowly escapes death in elevator accident in Russia VIDEO

A frightening incident in Ufa almost ended in tragedy when a local resident was nearly crushed by an elevator in a residential building.

According to Telegram channel Ostorozhno, Novosti, eyewitnesses reported that the incident occurred in a building on Mendeleev Street. Two people were inside the elevator when a maintenance worker began entering the cabin, and the lift suddenly shot upward. The man reacted quickly and jumped out of the elevator, avoiding injury.

Residents of the building say the elevator has not been replaced for a long time, and its technical condition raises serious safety concerns.
