Mass brawl with gunfire in Moscow region under investigation

Alexander Bastrykin, head of the Russian Investigative Committee, has requested a report on a mass brawl with gunfire in Podolsk, Moscow region.

A criminal case has been opened by investigators in the Moscow region, and all circumstances of the incident are being determined, Caliber.Az reports, citing the official website of the Russian Investigative Committee.

“Bastrykin A.I. instructed Yakovlev Y.A., head of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee in Moscow, to report on the progress of the criminal investigation,” the investigative body said.

Media reports note that on December 31, a fight broke out near the Gran shopping centre in Podolsk, involving more than 30 people dressed in black. Witnesses said several participants fired shots before fleeing the scene.
