Media: Over 110 aid trucks cross into Gaza from Egypt
A further 117 lorries carrying humanitarian aid have entered the Gaza Strip from Egypt, according to media reports on July 25.
Saudi broadcaster Al Ekhbariya, citing unnamed sources, reported that the convoy crossed into the enclave via the Zikim and Kerem Shalom border crossings.
There was no immediate information about the specific type of aid included in this latest delivery.
Earlier, the Israeli military admitted to destroying over 1,000 truckloads of humanitarian aid bound for Gaza, citing storage issues and delays in distribution.
The move comes amid what international agencies call a catastrophic famine, with over 2.3 million people facing severe shortages after 21 months of conflict and blockade.
Gaza’s health ministry reports at least 122 starvation-related deaths, mostly children, while aid groups warn the real toll is likely higher.
Malnutrition rates have surged, with 11.5% of children suffering from severe acute hunger. Critics say the destruction reflects broader obstruction of aid, as tonnes of food and medicine rot at border crossings.
