Media: Critically injured son of Chehen leader transported to Moscow photo

A medical evacuation aircraft operated by Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM), and believed to be carrying Adam Kadyrov, the son of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, landed at Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport overnight, according to ASTRA. Ramzan Kadyrov’s own aircraft arrived shortly after.

Flight data from FlightRadar, highlighted by Vajniye Istorii, shows that the EMERCOM An-148-100-EM “flying hospital” departed Grozny earlier in the day following reports of a serious traffic accident involving Adam Kadyrov. The aircraft touched down at Vnukovo at 01:10.

Soon after the medical plane departed for Moscow, an Airbus with tail number RA-73417, operated by RusJet—a company linked to former lawmaker and investor Yevgeny Tugolukov—also took off toward the capital. According to information from a leaked FSB Border Service database, this aircraft has been regularly used by Ramzan Kadyrov in recent years for flights to the United Arab Emirates, the outlet noted.

The previous day, Adam Kadyrov was involved in a major car accident in Grozny and is reported to be in critical condition. Initial accounts indicated that doctors intended to stabilise him and move him to Moscow for further treatment.

According to preliminary information, his motorcade had been travelling at high speed when an obstacle suddenly appeared on the road. The vehicles subsequently collided, resulting in injuries to several individuals.
