Media: Pig heads left on Muslim graves in Sydney following Bondi beach attack Photo
Pig heads have been thrown onto Muslim graves at a cemetery in western Sydney in what community leaders have condemned as a hateful act of retribution following the deadly Bondi Beach terror attack.
The incident occurred at Narellan Cemetery in Camden, where Muslim undertaker Ahmad Hraichie described the act as senseless and deeply offensive speaking to Daily Mail.
“To whoever did this: you have proven nothing except hatred. You are not a solution to any problem – you are part of the problem,” he said.
The incident comes following the shooting that occurred during a public Hanukkah celebration at Bondi Beach in Sydney on December 14, Australian authorities said.

The attack killed 16 people, including gunman Sajid Akram, while 42 others, among them four children, were taken to hospital. Officers confirmed that 14 victims died at the scene, with two more dying overnight in hospital. The victims ranged in age from 10 to 87 years old.
Muslim leaders in Sydney have said they will refuse to perform funeral rites or accept the bodies of the alleged perpetrators, Naveed Akram, 24, and his father, Sajid Akram, 50.
According to authorities, the pair opened fire from a pedestrian footbridge using military-grade weapons, targeting crowds of local residents, holidaymakers, and families.
