Media: Türkiye aims to eradicate terrorism completely in 2025

As Türkiye enters the new year, the country has set an ambitious goal to completely eliminate terrorism by 2025.

This statement was highlighted in an article titled "There are both opportunities and challenges. Will 2025 be the year terrorism comes to an end?" published by Turkish TV channel, Caliber.Az reports citing local media.

The article underscores Türkiye's commitment to taking decisive and multilateral actions to combat terrorism both within its borders and beyond. Security expert Abdullah Ağar remarked that if the Syrian government fails to eradicate the terrorist threat from its territory, Türkiye is prepared to launch further operations to ensure the security of its nation.

This aligns with previous statements made by Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, who, in a joint press conference with Belgian counterpart Bernard Quintin, emphasized the need to bring an end to the activities of terrorist organizations operating in Syria. Minister Fidan's remarks reinforce Türkiye's resolve to confront the terrorist threat in the region.
