Media: Ukrainian forces hit two industrial sites in Russia's Samara region

The Armed Forces of Ukraine reportedly carried out attacks on two industrial facilities in Russia’s Samara region on February 21, 2026.

Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishev confirmed that no one was injured and that emergency services are actively responding at the affected sites.

According to ASTRA, while Ukrainian media have claimed that one of the targets was the Neftegorsk Gas Processing Plant, this has not been independently verified. The facility, operated by JSC “NGPZ” under the Rosneft company, processes associated petroleum gas and serves a critical role in the region’s hydrocarbon utilisation and refining operations.

Authorities continue to monitor the situation and assess any damage resulting from the strikes.
