Metro in Armenian capital stops working due to bomb threat All metro stations closed

The Yerevan subway has completely stopped its work at the moment due to a report about a bomb threat.

All the stations are closed at the moment, the press service of the capital's subway reported, according to Caliber.Az with reference to the Armenian media.

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia Hayk Kostanyan confirmed the information to the Armenian media.

The representative of the Ministry explained that a letter had been sent to the e-mail address of the capital's mayor's office stating that all metro stations were mined.

The incident was also reported to the police.

Rescue services are currently evacuating passengers.
