Minister: Armenia to receive premium, standard fuel from Azerbaijan
Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan commented on the upcoming delivery of a second batch of petroleum products from Azerbaijan.
Papoyan stated that Azerbaijan would supply Armenia with premium and standard gasoline, along with diesel fuel, Caliber.Az reports via Armenian media.
"Preliminary estimates indicate the price will be 80 drams below the market rate,” the minister added.
The shipment is expected to include 1,000 tons of A-92 gasoline, the same amount of diesel fuel, and 1,800 tons of A-95 gasoline.
On January 7, Azerbaijani media reported that Baku plans to deliver a larger shipment of petroleum products to Armenia on January 8, including 1,000 tons of A‑92 gasoline, 1,000 tons of diesel fuel, and 1,800 tons of A‑95 gasoline.
Armenia received its first import of Azerbaijani petroleum products at the end of 2025. On December 19, a train carrying 1,218 tons of A‑95 gasoline arrived at the Ayrum railway station after passing through Georgia, consisting of 22 wagons loaded with Azerbaijani fuel.
