Ministry: Over 10 Chinese aircraft approach Taiwan

The Taiwanese Ministry of National Defence has announced that Taiwan's armed forces noticed 18 Chinese People's Liberation Army’s aircraft approaching the island.

“Some 18 aircraft, including J-10 fighters, Y-8 aircraft, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles, were detected on April 14 at 11:50 [GMT+8],” TASS reports citing the message.

Around 11 aircraft crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait and entered the air defence identification zone in the northern, central and southwestern parts of the island.
